I'm interested in this one:

Someone knows if that can fit a S3 Imperial chassis?
Thanks

Don't think they'll fit. Fakerhams are twice the size of a real caterham

Their website says that it will fit a narrow body Westfield with some fettling. So possibly may be doable. Why not ask them, and also suggest they make Caterham stuff too?

I'm doubtful they'll fit too. The cockpit areas of different brands always look different to me. And fettling materials like that is unlikely to be straightforward.

I'm also not sure they'd give that great a driving experience. Driving with a windscreen and the doors off isn't the most pleasurable way to enjoy a 7 - the buffeting and air pressure around head height makes breathing interesting at speed.

If you want the "fresh air" experience I'd suggest an aeroscreen and proper half doors - all easily swapped around. But on that front as I've mentioned elsewhere I wear a helmet in that mode. I'm taller than average (6'4") but have had stones and other debris hit the face of my helmet when using an aeroscreen. I wouldn't want to think what that would do to my handsome good look with no helmet.

That's Is really a good point, so no way to use windscreen+half doors if pretending breathing.☹️

I do, they reply Just a couple of hour ago.
They're not sure and they send me a drawing with the dimension.

I don't receive the car yet, I will check!

The angles are going to be important on the diagram. Especially the rake of the screen.

You may be able to approximate them from that drawing...but if they're out by a bit it will show a lot when you install them on the car.

I am very pleased to see upgraditis (a desire to upgrade parts on your car) is taking hold already - you will get on with Caterham life very well.

Bimota DB4 with engine swap 1100DS HC piston, NCR camshaft and flushed head.
Everything, engine and frame Is upgraded, Titanium screw all around, carbon fiber, magnesium. Now Is in stand by because I put Money in the caterham project and, at the end of the day, I'm just a proletarian who believed in it a little more.??

You can only use the emoticons listed as 'Smilies' just above where you type your post. You can just click on the Smilie and it will appear where the cursor was in your post.

PS I wouldn't bother with half-foors when the windscreen is fitted; they will make precious little difference. And I always have the tonneau cover on the passenger side; anything lightweight lying on the passenger's seat is likely to be carried away in the slipstream, even when the door is fitted.
