Hi folks, I have a 2018 420r which has developed a slight leak (old style) on the bottom right corner of the radiator.
Question is, has anyone had one mended? Is it possible,
or is there anything like 'Radweld' that would do the job?
Don't fancy shelling out ££££s for a new one.

Definitely avoid radweld!! Depending on why/where it's leaking a welder, fabricator or radiator specialist would mend it.

If you want to diy, try that chemical metal stuff. Mended many leaking rads in race cars over the years with it.

Thanks for that Bertbert, I've had a look on BC and it seems quite common (should have looked before posting rolleyes ) I've spoken to Radtech who tell me they can fix it. Plus, they're not far from me!

Thanks anyway. Now for my next possible problem. See my next post...

When I built my R400 in 2015, I had three radiators sent. They all leaked. In the end my son got one of them repaired at a race radiator company in Brackley.

It’s not unusual, I’m sure /radtech have done many of them.........

I had Radtec to repair it in the end and I must say, their service is excellent. There was another leak on the left hand side also so all mended now.

They have quite a lot of contracts including the MOD. But the most impressive one has to be Koenigsegg! I'd like to give a big shout out to Gavin there, top bloke.
