Hello,
I‘m from Germany and already own a Caterham Supersport. Now I would like to buy a Caterham Superlight 1998, K-Series 1600, 138 hp without catalysator.
For the german registration I need to retrofit the catalysator system of the younger K-series models to meet Euro2 regulations.
Does anybody know what I have to change and where to get it from or does the K-series 1600 without catalysator meet Euro2 regulations already?

Thank you very much

Hi, I think the single pipe through the side skin with the 4-1 manifold collector in the engine bay was the standard fitting then. The cat was part of the silencer. A lot of cars will have been upgraded to a 4-1 or 4-2-1 system with the separate primaries and collector outside the body for looks and performance.

I've got one in the shed if you are interested. It has come off a 1998 car with 7k miles
