1.4 K series supersport idle problem

Very very nice indeed. The first 7 I drove was the 1400 supersport with the 6 speed box. I went for a test drive when the showroom was at the top of the hill one chilly saturday morning. I got there and they just gave me the keys and sent me away. It was just fantastically awesome!

I had a 1.4SS years and years ago that developed this exact problem. I never did solve the problem after changing almost everything electrical I could think of. I ended up selling the car on with the fault disclosed. This was over 15 years ago and the chap still has the car but switched to a VVC engine soon after he got it so I doubt the fault was actually found in the end but I suspect this may explain the incredibly frustrating problem I had that lead to me selling it!
