Trailers and towing capacity
Discussion
Just looking at the towing capacity of my car (Mit Colt CZT, braked and unbraked) before I get bogged down with trailer brochures and more statistics. Braked towing capacity is 750kg. Caterham (possibly CSR...heavier!) and trailer look like they will be well above that. I know manufacturers go on the cautious side. Do you guys think this will be a problem?

If this is the case then things are a bit better as only 1 -2 bods in the car so hopefully OK? I see Fiestas, 206`s, etc etc towing.
If you get stopped and weighed then it's 3 points (as I know to my cost!) Thing is that the trailer will probably be 400Kgs, plus a CSR at circa 600Kgs that's 25% over, I'd reckon that's pushing hte boundaries a bit too far
