values on R500s

Hey Guys,

there have been so few R500s for sale the last while, its hard to get a feel for where their real value is........

is it realistic to expect a K to be between 20-25K (sale price not necessarily asking) and the duratec roughly 10K more ?

i've been keeping half an eye out for a while.... ideally a caged k series, prefer something mechanically 100% than something than spent most of its time covered in ceramic coating.. i.e. something that i am not worried about using as intended !!

anyone know of anything out there ? there used to be some gorgeous examples around... some pretty well spec'd cars that were very capable of track/competing albeit still looked good enough, i haven't seen a really decent one in a long time

I would have thought 500 k would be £25-£30 retail

Good luck finding a genuine R500 for £20K...... there will be queue round the block for it!

Good SLRs are £22/£23K so R500 a few grand more. Albeit the engine refresh issue might be a factor potentially

Unless very ratty or high miles I would be asking £35k for a genuine R500.
