Hi,
has anyone come across a lift mechanism for allowing caterham to sit on top, and a normal car nose to park underneath? I’ve seen McMillan’s with these a frames, and was considering something similar so I can get caterham and car all in the same garage. Be helpful to make better use of the space.

Is there anything off the shelf we could look at? Tried googling everything to no avail!! Thanks in advance!!

Rather than a full hydraulic lift, I’d seen at either mcmillians or DPR, a steel frame. Not entirely sure how they get the caterham up on it, but they used it to double stack the cars in the garage. They had maybe 15 of them. I figured you could get a car nose under it, and give me a bit more space.

They use a two post lift, put the cars in the air and lower them in to the frame.

Wow! That is a far better solution than my plan to store my caterham on a trailer in the garage. 2 of those and my double garage becomes a triple garage. I better get classic car shopping.

You store your Caterham on the trailer on the lift...
