2011 K Seriesl temp gauge not working

Hi, I have a gauge on my 2011 K series 1.6 that has decided to stop working. It is the temp gauge and sits next to the oil pressure gauge. It ranges from 40 to 120 but won’t move. I have traced the feed and it appears to join with the oil pressure gauge under the engine. As you can tell I am no great mechanic but does anyone have any experience with this gauge and how / who can fix it? Thanks in advance

Are you sure it’s the gauge and not just the sender?
The sender changes resistance with temperature so you can test the gauge by passing a voltage across the gauge without resistance and you should see full deflection.
Search blatchat for temp sender and there will be lots on there I’m sure as these can fail fairly frequently.
