I need a set of 13" Force Racing Wheels, standard Caterham wheels won't fit over the calipers and foul all sorts of things.

I think I like the SLR 7, in satin black of course for rims and centres,or possibly with gold centres. I can be swayed though, please help, they are for my all carbon fibre panelled and mat black car below.

Hi Peter

I have some new 3 piece wheels due in very shortly. Not Force but from another manufacturer with plenty of experience.

All designed and tested.

First couple of sets with me imminently.

Hopefully, a CAD image attached.

Will also have an SLR type centre a little later.

Thanks Simon, they need to be totally custom though, the only common spec with a Caterham wheel is the diameter. I need specific well clearances and everything.

No problem.

We just need the spec. Clearly a little more time to adjust the CAD drawings etc.

Call me if you wish.

Just resurrecting this thread, how did you gey on with your search for wheels? Did you go for the force racing rims.

I have seen and know of a few failures of the Force Racing rims so would look at other makes including those supplied by Meteor Motorsport

Sorry, I missed your post.

Please see pic above. I couldn’t use Simom’s wheels due to custom specs, even Force took a couple of goes to get them right.

They are, but with a thicker spoke, iirc, due to the stress the rear wheels get on this car.

How are you finding the Force wheels? and how was getting the tyres onto the rims?

Ive been considering a set of these for my project as they seem to be the lightest ones out there and weight is a major consideration for this car.... plus they are the best looking 13's Ive seen smile

I haven’t actually used them yet, shockingly. Hopefully will do so soon, I plan on using the car more this year before selling it.

I have them fitted to my car. Very pleased with them, although the car still isn't finished. Life got in the way.
I had to have them made to clear my brake set up.

Thank you Sir. Likewise. I must get back on it, but I'm back at sea again in a couple of weeks.
I do tend to skip from one project to another. I like motorcycles too, so I have a couple of those on the go also. I find if I have a rest, and mess with something else for a while, I come back fresh, and feeling the love smile
