Does anyone know what the part number is or what vehicle the temperature sensor is from.
The one for the ECU not the gauge.
Its a 1995 model and it doesn't use the standard rover one,it's fitted to the Caterham water rail and they don't have them in stock!

These are based on an EU2 K Series, so they may or may not relate to you.

  • ECU Temperature sensor - Brown on water rail. MEK100060 or MEK100170 (Elmwood sensors es120-4)

Thanks, I have been having issues with stalling and poor tickover and light throttle response I have tested the sensor and it seems fine however that doesn't mean its not faulty and it seems that this sensor often cause problems
After checking all the sensors I found the Lambda sensor was loose, finger tight! I changed the plugs from BCP7ES to BCPR7ES to eliminate ECU interference and its transformed no stalling, throttle control restored.
Now I can replace the correct temperature sensor, I didn't realise there were so many different types all with different values
