Removing the rear wing/wheel arch
Discussion
It's 26 years since I built the car(sold in 2002 bought back in November) and am in need of removing the rear wing/arch that was damaged by the last owner.
The rear half is held in place with nuts and bolts but the front half is blind and I guess rivnuts.
They all seem to be spinning, whats the best way of removing them and replacing the fixings please?
As an aside, how much room do I need at the side of the car to pull the axle out. Car central in a 9' wide garage, suddenly remembered I had to wheel the car out of the very narrow garage I built it in, to slide in the axle....
Thanks
Tony

If the rivnuts are spinning that is a pain. Use plastic bolts next time. I would angle grind the heads off so you can remove the wing and get better access.
I built my Seven in an small Airchamber and managed to get the DeDion tube in ok, but I think it would only go in from the near side.
