Replacing spark plug leads K-series with Dry Sump
Discussion
I've had the same leads on my engine since the factory in 2002 and they're looking a bit ropey. So I dropped into our local parts guys and got some new ones from Bosch -- so far so good.
I can change the leads on 1,2 but 3,4 and the centre coil wires are blocked by the Dry Sump Tower.
Do I really have to remove the whole of the Dry Sump tower just to do this or is there a better way? I considered loosening the Distributor cap from the head but you still can't gain any space to do 3,4 replacement.
Where's Oilyhands when you need him?

Bless you Oily, I started down that route but then I'd probably not gain any significant movement. I'll give it a try as soon as I can get into the garage! Cheers...

If you undo the two screws securing the cap you can rotate to a little and then lean it over sufficiently for the main lead to be removed.
