Took my 7 out yesterday, only needed to drive for about twenty mins but unfortunately it started raining after about five minutes! Not a problem I hear you say, except I have an aeroscreen fitted and until yesterday I had never experienced painful rain! smile

Same thing happened to me on Saturday.. caught in a very unforeseen thunder storm with nothing but an aeroscreen. Then while trying to make my way home, got caught up in the traffic as the local football match emptied. Sitting in complete gridlock in possibly the heaviest rain of the year wasn't fun. The football fans pointing and laughing was quite embarrassing though.

Passenger footwell had about half an inch of water sloshing about in it!

It is quite surprising how slow you have to drive. Anything above 30mph becomes very painful and almost impossible to see.

That was my first experience with aero+rain as well. But then one day you find yourself in rain without a helmet... biggrin You get used to pain surprisingly quickly. I still can't get used to not being able to see, though.
