As per title,
I am likely to notice much difference from fitting verniers?
Car is a 1.6k supersport. All standard apart from a Powerspeed 4-2-1.

All I can say is apart from verniers fitted and timed by DVA my old R400 K was completely standard .
It made 218 BHP when mapped by the two Steves , quite a bit above the book .

Not sure how a standard 1600 would respond with tame cams .

Standard super sports have woeful cam timing, I have seen them as much as 20 degrees out.

You should notice a difference in mid range torque, the magnitude of the difference will depend on how far out the cams are with the stock pullies.

If you measure your current lift at TDC the. I can tell you how far out your cams are and whether you would benefit.

Hi,

I had verniers fitted by DVA to my 1.6K Supersport, transformed the thing, power delivery is so much smoother, best upgrade I've done.

I had them fitted to mine a few years ago and they made a massive improvement to the power delivery

My HG had been skimmed quite a few times! So the timing was completely shagged. Getting it right using a vernier transformed the car. I guess we could have slotted to get there, but so much easier (and shinier) with a vernier.
