Gents,

Looking to racer the new car this year in a 2 driver event and looking into running pit lane speed limiter and wondering if this can be run off the ECU. The ECU is the standard C400 race car ECU MBE 992. Unfortunately i didn't receive any manual with the car therefore hoping the forum may be able to help.

Thanks

I think you may be looking at a later ECU for that functionality. Give SBD a call, they might be able to confirm.

I think you may need to buy a USB/CAN Interface, to go with the Mbe,.
That will connect to pc, then you may be able to set another map limiting the rpm, connected to a switch or dial. Of course that will depend on the ecu being uncoded

If you have the correct software on the ECU (you can always upgrade the software) you can use one of the programmable pins to enable a pit limiter. I have already done this to my Caterham C400 with a 9A4 ECU, if you need any help give me a PM.

Thanks
