Aeroscreen

Thinking of getting one of these. How many of you have them? do you have to drill new holes into the actual car or do you attache them using the existing holes / fittings from the windscreen ?

Caterham sell an interchangeable aeroscreen that bolts on through the front windscreen stanchion bolts. You need to cut the heated windscreen wires and crimp some bullet connectors on but then it'll be a 10 minute job to switch between the two. With the aero on, you just remove the windscreen wipers and cover the wiper spindles with plastic caps.

I've got the interchangeable screen and it is really very easy to fit.
It took me all of about half an hour to fit originally and it does only take 10mins to change between the two screens.

I cannot recommend the aeroscreen highly enough and I cerainly not have a 7 without one.
It really does add to the whole driving experience and even in cold weather it does not seem to be any colder than driving with a standard screen without the roof on.
The aeroscreen really comes into its own on trackdays too.

It was the best thing i ever did on my 7... made driving it even more fun.

If you dont want to wear a helemet everywhere then get yourself a Paintball mask and you get double the fun scarying people at the lights!, oh yeah and if your front plate should accidentally fall off ..ehem.. then you would be immune freom front facing scameras until you replaced the plate which is in your boot because its just fallen off
