Side Roll Bars

Still looking to purchase a 7 and have seen a couple in the classified with drivers side impact bars, are these easy to remove and if so once removed does it leave any marks or holes?
Also, I would prefer without the rear spare and carrier, as above is it easy enough to remove and are there any bars left on site etc.

The side bars would leave marks and holes where the bolts go into hidden (normally) threads on the chassis.

The spare carrier can be cut off quite easily (some leave short pieces so it can be removable) and the repositioned number plate can cover the holes. However, you will have a centre boss in the back panel. I have seen cars where this has been removed and covered with a badge, and can look smart. Watch the spare hasn't scuffed the paint too much though or a respray might be needed.
