Caterham fitted with BMW M88?
Discussion
Absobloodylutely!
As an aside, I had a nice chat with Geoff Page a couple of weeks ago, over here in Mallorca.
He was supporting an RS200 which was running in the Mallorca Rally Clasico.
What a nice bloke. He tells me he's building an in-line Busa engine which uses an inline box, similar the the Hartley H2.
Perfect for a sevenesque car, exept I prefer a N/A engine. He tried talking me out of the H1 for my project.(I think )
He also asked me if I was mad.

Adam Hay's Caterham Gigabusa might be more appropriate

A bit of Jack Frost handywork. Don't know if it's still going, but I know jack is. Is that still going ?

In real life I've seen one with a Lexus V8 on a Supra gearbox and not forgetting the Westfield Seight. It's doable and the if I recall the BMW V8 is a 60' vee so it's more compact than the Rover lump in the Westfield. Sounds like it could be a lot of fun and more suitable for daily use than the all or nothing bike engine Se7ens.
