New Build - Catch Tank Question

I'm wrapping up my R400 build. I have the Quaife sequential transmission, and I understand that the transmission's breather pipe should be vented to a catch can. Do most people simply run a line to the plastic oil catch tank (mounted at the front of the car), or do they use a dedicated catch tank closer to the transmission?

When I built my previous R500 with the Quaife Sequential Box, it cam with a separate oil catch tank just for the box.

I mounted mine on the front of the drivers footwell, its about the closest place to the box, and easy to router the breather pipe to that point.

On a track day the box can output quite a bit of oil, so it is needed to catch the excess oil.
