Standard K&N filters making a hell of a racket!

I'm in the process of fixing some collector to exhaust leaks and tuning her up with different jets

However my twin weber dcoe intake with standard K&N filters is making a hell of a racket. I have been unable to find an airbox design that fits inside the S3 hood.

Any ideas?

I'm considering going without intake horns and finding a thinner pancake style K&N that will move the intake more under the hood.

I love the sound of webers, I just need to take some Db out of her
