Poor choice of idle jets - 55F11?

My damn xflow runs like crap. My idle jet is a 55 F11. I hear the best route is an 50F9 or 45F9

What would the symptoms be for a 55 F11?

From my knowledge - you should be looking at a 45 - but more important is getting the two carbs balanced before any other tweaking - unbalanced carbs cause all sorts of "symptoms" that will disappear when you correct that first.
