Pre-purchase inspection (London & South East)

I'm interested in buying privately and when I find a car, I would like to have it inspected by a Caterham specialist who knows what he's looking for. Any ideas?

Hello.

You could no doubt get someone like Redline (who are in Caterham) or one of the other 7 places to do an inspection.

But you might be better off going to your local Lotus 7 Club area meeting. Most 7 owners are fairly sociable (apart from me, obviously ), so the car may be know to them locally or someone may well volunteer to come and look with you.

There isn't *that* much obviously hidden in any 7. If it looks tatty it probably is ! By and large most Caterham owners look after their cars very well.
