Nice one Nigel
(Did you have your "film-star" son along with you? I'll bet he would have loved that)
Thanks for that, but sadly no, neither myself not Tom were present.(Did you have your "film-star" son along with you? I'll bet he would have loved that)
Caterham Cars asked if they could borrow my car to take down to the F1 Testing Jerez a few weeks ago.
I didn't even dare tell Tom that the Caterham had gone away, he thinks it just went to the garage to be serviced, which it is now by the way!!

Aww well done Nigel. Must make you very proud.
Thanks indeed it does!!Ansar also commented to me in email and on the article, that he was close to tears when he watched all three cars roll out together onto the circuit.
Both he and all the team at Caterham should be very proud of the results of a lot of hard work!!

Is Tom aware that Caterham will soon have their own karts?
Ha Ha!!Nope I have kept that bit of Info hidden from Tom so far.
Not sure he would be that keen though, he would probably find them too noisy and dirty for his liking!!
He is a bit OCD when it comes to having this just so and clean and perfect etc.
Things may change as he gets older though!

Hi Steve,Thanks, I have seen that video, in point of fact that car is not mine, it's one of the CDX cars!
I did say to them however that they could drive it as hard as they like, and they might have done that, as they put a full new set of tyres on my car before returning it to me!
In the video the one who seems to be driving it hardest is Mike Gascoyne!
Cheers,
Nige.
