Caterham sales/exclusivity

Assuming it isn't classified information, does anyone know (approximately) how many Caterham 7s are there out there, and how many are outside the UK?

I found the Lotus Registry website, but I wonder how many cars since that time have been cranked out over the years...

Also,, I found a really lovely tool shop this week in Recklinghausen (Germany). I wanted to buy a couple of torque wrenches, ready for the build, and I fell in love with the place. It was a couple of euros more than online, but it is nice to keep the money in local circulation. It wasn't quite Fork Handles, but it had a lovely atmosphere, lots of neat drawers everywhere and an awful lot of things that tempted me. ;-)
