Brake light switch origins

Just failed its first MoT for no brake lights. (Should have checked - stupid boy)
Caterham are out of stock, CPNumber 51470,

Who can tell me where the switch originates, (eg Ford Fiesta, BL Sherpa Van, etc)

If you can tell me please do

The car is a 2009 Academy model.

Open up the switch under the pedal cover, clean the contacts (without loosing the spring) pop together and job done for another few years. 10min job.

Switch, removed, dis-assembled, cleaned and reinstalled etc.
much cheaper and quicker than a new one.

The Freelander (original) uses an improved version of the switch. It's what I've fitted as the original kept playing up. Penny's to buy from any 4x4 place, car auto parts.

What's the new part number for that switch? We're doing a rallye this year and I'm doing a winter refit and would be the right time for a new pedal box switch...

Seems to work fine. Original Caterham one was rubbish.
