Aahrgg, luckely not mine, but this one is beyond repair. Driver is ok.
Not a caterham as the papaers say, but a Donkervoort.
But note how everybody always sees a caterham in every 7 looking car. Several papers made coverage of this exclusive expensive sportcar a caterham super 7.
That just makes me smile.

Very scarry, looks like very airborne as the clip to the tree is preety high up,Do hope the driver/pass are ok.
Around here (suffolk UK) we are going through a period off neglet/not my problem etc with road side issues, Either dead trees about to fall on the road/cars,over grown hedges shielding hidden turnings/drive ways etc,Steel man holes sinking around 4" before action taken and protruding steel roadside gulleys ready to take a chunk out of a rim.
Scarry one on the A134 period house set back in very neglected woodland (more trees falling than standing)on a series of sweeping bends with a very neglected spiked wrought iron fence falling slowly over the years into the road. Scarry thoughts if a biker ended up in it.
In defence to the roadside farming community, If they ask for a police presence patrol car etc to be on site to get joe public to slow down and pass with caution while the land owner runs the tractor and fail around these type of bad bends, to make a clearance the usual police reply is not enough staff, put warning signs up and call us if there is an accident (so that is why these hedges get left) rant over.

I think the green post is the remains of a lamp post, taken out by driver and thus becoming a launch ramp. It must have been v v scary.
So long as everyone walked away okay, then the driver will be able to sleep at night. A good reminder of potential consequences when driving (any car).

This is exactly why at the end of October every year my Caterham get's dry stored for the winter to be brought out again in April.
Since the second week in December i know of 6 Caterhams that have been written off/ badly damaged because the drivers have lost control
on damp cold roads. 4-500 BHP per tonne 500Kg cars with 8"/9" tires that never really hot is a recipe for disaster this time of year
