Believe the wife's 59 reg roadsport is BMW 'alpine white', don't have a paint code for it though, any one know this paintcode?

I'm not sure there is such a thing as a 'standard' flat white - I think it would have to be specified by whoever ordered the car. Even then, there's no saying it'll match what another painter thinks is the same colour...

honest answer Is im not a red fan but hoped it would grow on me but it hasnt and up close (as an x painter) i wouldnt say the paint job is that good or not good enough to live with so if im going to the extent of painting it might as well do it a colour i like, to be fair there is only the tub and bonnet to paint the rest is carbon fibre so will take no doing and prob cost me under £100 to do it!

I did my Csr260 Audi Ibis white from silver as I couldnt live with the bonnet always looking off shade against the tub, something that caterham dont seem to be able get right with most of there colours!I always thought that ibis white looked whiter than other caterhams Ive seen hence wondering if there was a standard colour they use ?

Steve Carter (GetCarter on here) has a recent new white Caterham R500. Might be worth speaking to him? I'd recommend titanium silver which I think looks good with the carbon wings on a superlight smile

I agree white's a crap colour on a 7, I'd never buy a white car, at Least I don't have to clean the wife's car after every blat, necessary even in the dry, coz the flies get splattered and look awful on the paint. If her car ever needs a touch up or respray, it ain't gonna be White thereaftersmile

So they should be able to 1 give you the mix spec
2 sell you paint, but it will be expensive
3 or be typically Caterham and refuse to do either unless they paint the car very expensivly

Mine is going to be painted ford frozen white tomorrow! This is supposed to one of the cleanest/brightest non-pearl whites.

Looking awesome as usual Mr Cooper

Is that a Carbon nose aswell as rear wings, and are ther from CC.

Think I will have to get rear carbon wings on mine.

Was it Caterham white you used, if so I wouldn't mind knowing the code. Caterham gave me a bottle of touch up when I collected my car which only stated R300 Demo on front. When I got home and removed the top, the paint was solid.

thanks Jeremy thumbup , I wanted a white one so for the sake of a few days graft im happier with how it is now, and yes it allready had carbon arches all round on it to start with, nose was painted so a few coats of paintstripper and a quick polish up got it as good as new again, still amazes me why anyone would paint over CF but we all different!

I never found out the colour but CC could well use the latest Bmw Alpine white as suggested on here it is a bright white too.

I used Frozen white but tbh I painted my Csr in Audi Ibis white which also looked good. noticed CC still have it up for sale! here
