Apologies - expect this has been has been covered before, but can anyone send me the procedure for changing the above ?

De Dion with Sierra diff and I'm reasonably sure the RHS drive flange seal is leaking. A bit hard to tell as the oil has spread pretty much everywhere, including inside the rear wheel...

I did do a search, and remembered someone posting a link to a concise procedure, but cant find it on here or BC.

Any help appreciated as I'm going to have a go this weekend...Assume I can get to it with the diff in situ ??

Thanks
Matt

Hi Matt,

You may need to get used to this as I've had both sides replaced twice each! You're right in so far that a tiny leak can make such a mess and smells awful. Unfortunately, (fortunately?) Millwood did my repairs so I can't help you on how to do it...

Clean up the diff properly, then fit a breather tube to a small catch tank. I thought mine was weeping but it was oil mist blowing out of the breather.

Good luck
