Insurance help?

A few months(?)ago somebody posted a reply that mentioned the name of a specialist insurance company for Caterhams et al which I subsequently phoned for a quote. The good news is that they a were a few hundred £ cheaper than anyone else that I tried the bad news however is that I've since lost all threr contact details since!!! Doh. Any suggestions for specialist insurance companies would be MUCH appreciated as I'm in the process of buying another Caterham! Many thanks in advance.

Mark's right - Dave Spragg is a top man. But in some instances Eggar Lawson have come up with good deals too - can't remember their number but I'm sure someone here has it - or cross check Blatchat

check adrian flux. For a one off payment, they will cover a seasons t/days. The Eggar lawson deal is around £20/day (from memory).... although marginally cheaper for the policy itself

MSM don't cover trackdays at all, so if you do want to track it and don't want to risk not having cover, try Eggar Lawson.

Many thanks for your suggestions, however none of them sound familiar (as regards the one that was mentioned on here). I was previously with Eggar Lawson but the 'other' company came out at almost half the price but as you say that may be because they won't cover track days. Just so that you know, I've decided to find a Superlight R as my next plaything. I must say I'm jolly excited!!! Tee hee.

FWIW, most EL cover comes with track day cover *standard* if the track day is with a recognised company.....which most are!
