I have just fitted a roadsport cage to the R300. It also came with the low level side impact bar. Is it possible to fit this and still open and close the door. Looks like the bar will be in the way but wondering if the door is soft enough to squeeze behind.Do not want to take exhaust off and fit bar to find door does not close.

Thanks in advance

From here, at the bottom it suggests not.

That link's giving a 404 error. I assume this is the page you meant: http://www.alcester-racing-sevens.com/side_impact_...

Thanks for the info guys, but the top tube of my bar is lower than the mentioned bar on the link.

Jem,
From the photo here, it looks very much as though the door can be opened with the bar in place.

Hello

The door will open and close OK but you'll need to lift the bottom over the bar before closing. It's no bother at all. We run these bars on our racecars (I'm in Caterham Roadsports) and many of us have run with doors for the last two years.

Cheers!

As already said it will be fine (got one on mine). You just need to lift the door over the bar a little when closing and securing it.
