Need to order a few things for it's MOT advisories. On the Caterham website under Series 3, I get the choice of metric or imperial.

The cars a 1999 VVC. Any easy way to find this out?

Cheers folks.

Like getting a tape measure out would be one I suppose!

Well as long as it's not electrical or my coolant system, I have faith it'll pull through!

Cheers folks.

As johnvthe2nd says, it's imperial. wink

There's no question about it due to the year, but as a handy guide, if you're unsure about it on a chassis that was built around 2006/7, if you look at the bottom chassis tube that runs at the back of the rear wheel arch (The one the ARB is bolted to) it will be square section half way along if it's Metric.
Imperial ones have a round tube for the whole length.

Oh, and the weld spatter will tell you if it's metric.....biggrin

Now his only problem is to find out what 'imperial' is because as a youngster he has been brought up on 'metric' so now I guess the rest of my toolbox (only imperial spanners left now) will follow all the metric stuff into his shed !

Who would have children ? biglaugh
