Are these correct spark plugs ?

I have just fitted new plugs to my 1.6 K series, 2002 model, however the leads do not seem to push down as far onto the plugs as with the plugs I have removed ? So there is not a watertight seal now with the lead to the cam cover.

These are part numbers of new plugs, NGK BCPR7ES

Old plugs removed have part numbers: NLP100290 ( Looks like they have been on the car since new !! )

Any advice will be appreciated

Hi,
mines a Sigma but just had a quick look on L7CGB and found this http://www.blatchat.com/t.asp?id=203252. Looks like you have the right plugs at least from NGK.
