Caterham R - Stack display dead? Blinking LEDs...

Hello everyone,

I'm writing this as a last resort, as sadly, none of the dealers here can help me out.

The Stack display on a Caterham (Stack Model ST868) has failed to work. Upon turning on the ignition, the display stays dead with exception of both LEDs (left and right) blinking rapidly. The greenish backlight is on. Apart from that, everything is dead.

Anyone have any ideas what this could be? Unfortunately no one at Stack Inc that could help us and we should be heading out with the car urgently.

This has happened on my vx220 which also has a genuine stack dash. I found that the connection on the battery was dodgy, a bit of cleaning and adjusting later all was well. It can also be dry connections on the dash or earth straps on the chassis somewhere.
