Newbie saying hello
Discussion
As the title, have just bought a superlight R400 with a Honda civic type R engine the one advertised on ph looked a very well kept car anyone on here know it http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3110790.htm .
I went for this car as it seemed a fair price with a little neg of course and I knew the Honda engine is very reliable,it was hard to value as a superlight as the Honda engine is not really recognised as I have not heard of another.
Anyway a big hello all advice welcome

Hello Sundance
Because of the high reving, high BHP and ultra reliability of the Honda engine I have often thought about sticking a one in a 7 but in the end I went with a Ford because I'm lazy! The car looks nice I'm sure it goes very well indeed and other than the very gay cloth chairs it looks a very very cool spec too.
Welcome to 7 ownership and enjoy the rest of the summer in it!

Thanks,
Wish I could, I'm on the cost del sol and it's not worked over here, maybe it's just my dancing.
Was a bit worried at first with there not being any with the typ r engine but it's been very well done.

Thanks looking forward to tracking her.
Was top of the list they look like office chairs but easy to change. Haven't picked her up yet so no clue to how she goes.
Collecting next week.

Very nice, with that power and revs it must be mad to drive!
Do you have any ground clearance issues? I remember reading that the VTEC is quite a tall engine?
Hi Grenpayne,Do you have any ground clearance issues? I remember reading that the VTEC is quite a tall engine?

I had many worries regarding a few things, so I called clockwise and spoke with a guy called Ian who fitted the engine and made all the bell housing , he was a very helpful guy and they specialise in race vtec engines he put my mind to rest and now I think it's a good way forward to be able to have so much torque with so much reliability.
The ride height and ground clearance are not changed with the adjustments and fittings made bespoke, the only difference is the engine.
