Caterham owners have long been the target of sometimes unfair criticism from Westfield owners for generally not knowing one end of a screwdriver from the other, having difficulty changing a battery...and also for being all southern and putting their cars in cottonwool at the first sign of a rain drop ...

But now, thanks to the official SORN/Registration numbers, we can sort all this out, without further ado ... FIIIIGGGGHHHHTTTTT smile

Percentage of vehicles SORNed by Quarter.....

As you can see, a convincing win for the southern softies according to the Department for Transport figures wink

A huge 60% of Westlife-field owners can't deal with a bit cold during the colder months, wheras nearly two thirds of Caterhammer owners are out there in all weathers. Well done fellas !

All that graph proves is that Cateringvan owners are considerably richer than yow.

They tax their cars all year round because they're not bright enough (or tight enough) to SORN them, is all.

Amusing thread. What a surprise Sam68 bitbiggrin
Looking at the graph, the lower picture is Chuck Norris but the dude at the top looks like the actor who used to be in CHiPs in the 70's. Is that right?laugh What's he got to do with it?

Although this information is indisputable proof(!) I'd also like to add that the figures don't include the 250+ caterham owners who use their cars exclusively for the track every year...
I know westfield softies use their cars on track too, but I think the numbers are smaller?
