Diameter of Caterham cage?
Discussion
I have a 2009 sigma-engined academy car with the roll cage that Caterham supplies. I want to get a roll cage-mounted rearview mirror.

There are two sizes for the parts that attach the mirror to the roll cage: 1.5 inch or 1.75 inch
Does anyone know the diameter of the roll cage? (car is in the shop for the next 7 days, so can't measure it myself)
Thanks so much

I've got one of these mirrors on my Roadsport Racecar.
Even the smaller diameter bracket will need additional padding as it's still too big for the roll-cage. I use the non-slip matting you can buy for putting in tool/kitchen drawers. Reckon you can get a roll from Homebase/B&Q pretty cheap.

Thanks for the really helpful advice :-)
