Does anyone know of any issues with respect to bleeding a car with a PRRT fitted?
Car does not have a heater. Last night i saw 105 degrees on my aim dash (fed via the CAN bus from the ECU). Had an IR temp probe on all the pipes and the inlet/outlet of the rad which all showed circa 80 ish degrees (bearing in mind the the outer wall of the silicone hoses may be cooler than the contents).
Any suggestions as to what to try next? The PRRT is fitted in the correct orientation by the way. Even if there is an airlock on the rad outlet (i.e. The input to the PRRT) this would not matter as the bulb for the stat is on the bypass circuit IIRC?
I'll put an ohmmeter across the temp sender terminals to see if it's duff.
