Flexible led strips make good side indicators and are easy to install. I fitted mine inside the windscreen supports.

Nice idea David - I like that a lot. Looks much cleaner than the Landrover/mini units I've seen fitted.

where did you get them from? any more technical details on how you rigged them up, etc?

I got them here off ebay.

10 pounds the pair +pp. I just wired them to my indicator switch and earthed them
I do not know if you can cut them to fit in the triangle of the stantion. I did not so some of the strip had to go under it. I had to squeeze two of the led's under the stantions then push hard to bolt the stantions back on the windscreen. They would be a doddle to fit if you can cut them to size.
