Chaps, looking for some advise...

Having put some miles on the 7 yesterday, it's now making noises at me...

On the run I can tell you that:
Water temp stayed rock solid around 80-85
Oil pressure remained at around 60 light cruising, 70 under WOT and about 30 at idle
The engine felt strong and healthy

It's now sqeaking at me, but it's not the aux belt.

Have a look at the clip:

That's a rather good squeak!

Is it an air (in) leak that's also making it rough at idle?

Have you done a compression test?

You could be right.

What would be the best way to test this theory?

Just a quick update:

Confirmed that there is a gasket leak leaking sucking air between the throttle bodies and inlet manifold.

I'll put it on the 'job list'

Using a piece of rubber pipe held to the ear with other end passed near to the joint in question. A leak is noticeably different to the rest of the mechanical noises
