have some experience with quick-ish cars but this would be my first of this types of cars and about 800bhp/tonne appeals a lot

400bhp is a lot of tune, but possible. Certainly 600kg plus, as there doesn't seem to be a huge amount of weight saving going on there - but hey, with 400bhp on tap, a bit of extra carbon here and there is going to make no difference
That sort of Power/Weight, and the turbo kick, coupled with no windscreen no doors and your backside a few inches off the ground will re-define "fast" for most people And certainly will redefine (even in the dry) the idea of a throttle being a binary device !

400bhp in a Seven would be very scary. 300 is enough!
What is scary about this car is that it is turbocharged. This makes the power delivery very linear when on boost, but sadly the opposite when the boost builds. In a car as light as this could be (say 600kgs) it will be utterly undrivable.
Additonally, given the T5 gearbox, it will have totally inappropriate gear ratios too.
There used to be a really nicely put together Caterham with a blown Cossie in it which was "only" about 300bhp. It won CCC car conversion of the year about 15 years ago, was very fast when on boost, but undrivable doing what a Seven is built for - twisty stuff.
Sadly it will cover any ground with corners no faster than the Sierra its running gear came from.
