Hello

I've just had a new pair of 888's fitted on the rear and they have come back rather highly inflated as the car is bouncing around like hell.

Before I take some air out, I thought I would check the consensus on PSI for road use (and also track).

For reference, I am running 205/65 on 13" rims...

Cheers!

I always find that if they don't ask you they'll typically put in 30psi which will not be far off the mark for a tin top but way too high for a 7. Whilst I have no experience of 888s I would suggest that you'll be looking for something around the 16-19psi mark.

Track/Cold: RL-15, RR-16, FR-16, FL-17 to get 21 psi hot.

Are you sure you mean FL-17? I was always told that that should be the lowest of the 4 as it does the most work (on clockwise cicuits).

For track I normally go FL 15, FR 16, RL 16 and RR 17 as advised by Gary May at Freestyle.
