Rover k-series 1.8 vvc

As I had to drag the car to another for the second time, can anyone tell me if the 1.8 VVC engine has to be a 18K4K?
The shop need to know for sure to use the correct timing to start with.
Have there been other engine codes for the VVC engines?

Hoping that mapping the Emerald is the last bit to get her running again as it's starting to turn into a bloody nightmare.

There are EU2 and EU3 variants, I can't remember the engine codes offhand, but they all use the same CPS and injector wiring so getting the emerald working shouldn't be a problem.

Hopefully I get it sorted as I'd really love to take the Caterham on my roadtrip in 3 weeks. Would be a lot more fun than a Subaru Forester.
Don't have any high hopes though...

Do EU2 and EU3 ecu units look different? Mine looks like those on the Caterhamparts website.
