K series Bellhousing
Discussion
Anyone out there converted their Caterham away from the K series but still has a gearbox Bellhousing to link the K series to the Ford type nine gear box lying around. I am rebuilding and modifying a Ford Anglia and have a spare 1400 K series from when I upgrade my Seven to a VVC. I now want to put this 1400 K series in to the Anglia but need a Bell housing to join it to a Type nine. Caterham sell them but I would need to sell one of my children first to pay for it.
Lots of you might say Why not go Zetec or Duratec but I actually like the K series and I have one lying around so it will not cost me anything to use. I have a 1600 X flow with twin 40s which was the first choice but it is so damm heavy that the K series beats it every day for power to weight and cost of running, and reliability and parts.
Thanks for reading and please get in touch if you have a bellhousing lying around in the garage that you no longer need.
