How to plumb my catch tank?

Looking at the photos available everyone who has dry sump and catch tank has it located in a different position and plumbed in a different way. Would be mighty pleased if some knowledgeable folk could explain the ins and outs.... With reference to R500 dry sump; Yes I have bought a new catch tank as my old was looking old, yes I am a polisher at the moment! Can't drive much guests on board, so spend fuel money on parts (I think Mick will understand, yes, my summer season has started ealy!!) Anyone in Cote d Azur for a blat once the Canne film festival settles down may have a break after that.
