New expat toy

Just thought I would post a picture of the new toy. The 68 is back at home and since I have found myself in Dubai, I couldn't ignore this 1970 L46 matching numbers coupe that came up. Everything looks pretty original. I have only had to change fan belts - which makes a change from the total restoration done on the 68. Have to say I am pretty relieved.

I swear the car gets less attention here than England. DOnt think they appreciate classics here...

That's 'cos he's in Dubai, if he was in Australia it would have been upside down and if he'd been in Brazil it would have been on the other side......

Looking at going to Dubai soon, Might even see it on the streets! Looks really nice..

If you're in Dubai let me know. Not too many classic corvettes here. There is a 1960 for sale at about 35k sterling but its beyond my reach!
