Finally got round to tinting the Z06

I got the Blackout kit from G S Creations in the States and posted some pic's of that some while ago....and since then I have 'talked' about tinting the Windows 'Boring' the Guys to death at the North East Club Meetings [Sorry Guy's] Anyway Bluthunder posted a few of his Silver C6 and that 'pushed me over the Edge!' It helps to know it's been done and the sort of costs.......Took the Guy three attempts but he got it Bang Right!





My wheels just need a 'light clean' I used the net to find a Good Polish and came up with S100 Polishing Soap.....It's a Clay with Soap Suds built in .....If you have corroded [salt dried on Chrome Ali or Stainless Steel...it won't help on Polished where the corrosion has got under the Lacquer....] see it on YouTube

Thats looking good.I did say the windows were difficult to tint.So it didn't surprise me when you said it took a few attempts to tint.I've got some better pictures of mine showing the tint.....

Mark Thanks for that ....Yep.. those are better Pictures for showing off the Tints on your car............Looking Superb....Now all we need is a torrential downpour to wash the Salt off the roads ....and some Dry and Bright Weather ..Roll on Spring......
Somebody has started a thread on 'Red Tail Lamps and Amber Hazards' on CCCUK I have emailed the Company to see if I can buy the 4 tail lamps and a 'loom' and wiring Diagram...... as I Miss all 4 tail lights coming on [on my C5 Z06] and all 4 brakes and both lights going on for the turn indicator....he's replied needing to know if mine is a Euro Spec which it is a Stratstone of London car.....so we will see how that 'Pans' out.....

Looking good guys!.Ken please let me know how you get on with the back lights, I have seen some excellent LED versions on one of the USA websites, but suspect they may not be Euro compliant.

Hi Keith Yeah I have seen them and I am sure they won't be any good for us ....so I am keen to see if this is the way to go......will let you know....Keith it's the fastlane show at Corbridge on the 15th May ....The North East Guys display there Corvettes and for the first time ..... Me Too!! Are you Gonna come visit the Show ( to join us you have to pay £6 and register on line) ....see you in the Spring no doubt
