Motor trend road test - 2011 Corvette Z06
Discussion
I never liked the C6 styling. It's a shame that in this era of nip and tuck styling changes that the C6 hasn't changed a jot since 2004. Even the C4 got a facelift after 7 years.
I know the C5 remained pretty constant but I think they got that one right.
Now I obviously wouldn't turn down any car with that LS7 engine but would prefer a bit more eye candy. Roll on the C7.
Incidentally, are they going to be replacing the n/a LS7 with the blown 550hp LSA engine any time soon or is that too close to the ZR1?
Oddly enough, the interior has never bothered me - I prefer a functional interior to a drawing room office full of crap gadgets.

Maybe the reason the C6 hasn't changed a lot is because maybe they got it right in the first place. The lines of the C6 are a lot sharper than the C5.There was certain design aspects i never liked on the C5 when i had it.Front and rear overhangs were to long. The rear was to bulbous. And the standard factory wheels on offer were far to small for the car.I know the C5 remained pretty constant but I think they got that one right.
