Once you've spent a bit of time with one they do feel much more than just an update of a c5 don't they?

Oh! completely different. No offence to the C5 owners, but they feel leagues ahead.

Bugger.
As a previous owner of a C5, I guess I need to continue saving for a C6.

Genuine question; I'm wanting to get back into Corvette ownership, would getting a C5 again be selling myself short?
I try not to get the same car again in my vehicle history except for Lotus Europas and Corvettes (I have a thing about them that I can't resolve!!).
I've had a C3 and a C5, so will another C5 do it or should I progress to the C6?

The C5 is a very good car. But having had both i would save your pennies for the C6. Its just a better alround package in every department. You wont be disappointed.

bluethunder - i think i remember coming to your place in bromley to try a couple of different lighting boxes, I had the black 4.5 cerb. anyways, I moved over to the US last year and made the same swap as you, to the C6. Hope you are enjoying yours. I love mine but do miss the cerb every now and again.

Not me fella. But yes i am loving the Vette. But strangely not missing the Cerb. I think i had done my time with it. And it was a very enjoyable and rewarding 6 years i had with it.

I here what you are saying about the Z06. I managed to have a good drive of a couple.I will probaby have this for about four years. By which time i would have had the sale of a house. So the next choice would be a ZR1 or the new C7. Which i'm sure will be around by then. Or something that i have wanted for a very long time. A Mosler M900.
