Not a cheap way to do do it but i got a new set and installed them on some hre
wheels, rather than remove the tyres/sensors from the original wheels.

Just too add make sure you have the right sensors,ie euro spec or usa spec car.
They have a diff frequency, ask me how i know biggrin

When you reinstall the sensors you need to reprogram them through the DIC. This tells the BCM where the sensors are on the car. Most, but not all after market wheels will take the sensors.

The TPS system works on RF. The TPS is dormant until the wheel spins and then it sends a signal to the RFA (receiver) and on to the PCM.
(computer). The PCM then sends a value to the DIC (Drivers Information Center).

There are different frequencies for the early C5s (<2000), the later C5s and the Euro models so you need to get the correct components if you buy new ones. Z06s didnt have TPS

You need to maintain the same tyre circumference as stock, or at least the ratio between front/rear tyre circumferences. If you don't, you can get either a traction control error or it will keep cutting in spuriously.

According to the Corvette Forum you can disable the TPMS on the 2001 - 2004 Cars.

Sorry, I should have said, the sensors from your old wheels do swap over, my Mum's does have different diameter wheels and retains the pressure sensors.
