Hello everyone,
I am new to pistonheads and have never written into a forum before.
I am the owner of the Silver 2006 Z06 so with all these questions flying around I felt compelled to respond.
I went to the USA to purchase some real American muscle as my father was a keen Corvette owner in the 60's and i supposed some of it was passed down to me.
I invested everything i have in two Z06's,one for a famiy member and one for me, unfortunatly my other half was not impressed by my suprise to her.
This left me with £31000 of unwanted car. We are due our 3rd child soon and this is why i have advertised the car as "Due to finacial circumstances".
The reason i stated that the car is valued at £45000 is after looking at the market in the whole of Europe,(plus the value of the Authentic wheels and the Goodyear Eagle Run Flats, yes they are authentic wheels,I had them chromed)thought it was worth that much.
I dropped the price because i want to sell the car, but it seems that it only caused loads of people that i have never met or have never met or spoken to me before to start assuming things they new nothing about.
I find it very unfair that people would go out of there way to talk nonsense about some ad on their favorite website, do they know that maybe this person really does need to sell his car,do they know what an absolute bargin he was offering without checking it out for them selfs,no they just assume and chuckle away with people they don't know but really your just destroying somebodys hard work and finacial future, nice!
I have always used my real name and address and personal phone number as i have never had anything to hide, anyone who has called me and asked has always recieved the truth, the very nice C5 owner who came to look today was able to see the original reciept on my purchase of the car, whom i bought it from, all photos before and after import and the name of my importers whom cleared and converted and tested my car before i ever recieved it. Now is every seller that honest?
Zee German who never showed was called Rhindhold or something and he calls himself Mr.Cobra from B.G Sportscars Germany, I advise everyone to aviod him. Yes i waited a week for him thinking it was a done deal, well i won't be doing that again. I have had to many people contact me with offers of exchange only to pull out when i have shown interest so i do appologise if i have sounded "snooty" but i just don't have time for time-wasters,am i alone on that one, i think not.

I invite anyone to come and look at the car and see if you don't think its georgeous and worth every penny.

Thanks for reading this and warm regards to any pistonheads
Nathan

Hi Nath, american car buyers can be a real funny bunch! I have sold a few over the last 10 years or so and had nothing but grief! Where are you located as I would like to have a look at the car in the next day or so.
